In your own words, can you describe your role as a senior advisor? How do you leverage your background when bringing your guidance to leadership?
My role as senior advisor is to help guide the strategic direction of the company as it continues to establish itself as a leader within the Federal contracting space. I place myself in the position of Iberia’s leadership to share what type of information I would want to know in order to make the most informed decisions that will have the greatest impact. That means I’m leveraging my connections, my experience, my resources to help support and aid Ryan and Erica, ensuring that they meet mission success.
Throughout your career, you have been a champion of DEI and human rights – what are the 1-2 most impactful ways we incorporate these values into our professional and personal lives?
Professionally, it’s important to ensure that diversity and equity are considered horizontally across the entire company, and not just siloed in its own vertical.
Personally, we should be good stewards and good members of our community, doing all we can to help others in society live a better and more prosperous life.
What were two or three decision points you made throughout your career that led you to where you are today?
My decision after law school to join Deloitte Consulting in strategy and operations was the key decision. From there, I pivoted into a senior staff position on a presidential campaign, leading to work with two presidential administrations, and paving the way for where I am today.
